Jump-in on short call at Semperoper Dresden - Soprano ANASTASIYA TARATORKINA is thrilled to overtake SUSANNA in Mozart's "Le Nozze di Figaro". One of her favourite parts, which she already embodied at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden, the Oper Frankfurt and the Staatsoper Meiningen. Haaving studied in Dresden, Mrs. Taratorkina has a special connection to this town and also to the Semperoper, where she made her house-debut alongside Rolando Villazon as Euridice in Monteverdi's "L'Orfeo" last season.

Eric will create the part of TUCKEY in Olga Neuwirths's newest opera "Monster's Paradise", which will be world-premiered Feb 1st, 2026 in stage direction by Tobias Kratzer and under the baton of Titus Engel in Hamburg, before moving on to the Opera Zürich. Tuckey will mark Eric's second part in an Olga Neuwirth opera, after having created already the GUARDIAN ANGEL at the Wiener Staatsoper, which in the following season also will bring him to the Komische Oper Berlin.

We are mourning the death of DANIEL LIPTON, a stunning conductor and exceptional musician and very good friend, who left the world on Feb 18th 2025 in Tampa, Florida, where he lived during the last years. Born in Paris, raised in NYC, he has conducted the most important orchestras and in the most important opera houses, like Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Barcelona, Toronto, München, etc. etc. Condolences to his family, his wife and his 2 children Laura and Lucca from his 2nd wife, primaballeria Sandra Lipton.
